iDISC awarded the ISO-9001 certificate of quality

iDISC Information Technologies has been awarded ISO 9001:2008 certification for web solutions development and language services, having successfully passed the audit carried out by TÜV Rheinland Ibérica Inspection, Certification&Testing S.A., who assessed aspects such as quality, staff qualifications, the procedures followed in the provision of services, communication with clients and the company's technical resources.

iDISC has been EN 15038-certified for translation services since 2009. Regarding its recent ISO 9001:2008 certification, Pere Grivé, Chief Executive Officer of iDISC, stated: “We value this achievement very highly, since this is not a certificate awarded for one particular service, but for the whole range of language services we offer, as well as for development of web solutions”.

According to Núria Riera, iDISC’s Quality Manager, “the preparations we have made in order to obtain this certificate have given us the opportunity to carry out a thorough internal review of our company-wide processes: this has been a very valuable exercise for everyone, one that has helped us to identify opportunities for improvement and better understand our strengths. We have been able to demonstrate that our procedures are systematic, consistent and that they meet our clients’ needs. Moreover, our system undergoes a continuous review process, which allows us to implement the necessary fine tuning to continue improving day by day”.

This certificate guarantees iDISC’s management procedures across all departments, and confirms the soundness of our organization as well as our ability to deal successfully with projects of all types.
